| Statement of Faith We believe the Bible is the complete inspired, inerrant, and the only infallible word of God written by servants of the living God. This is the record of God's revelation of Himself to humanity. It is a perfect treasure of divine instruction. It has God for its writer, salvation for its end, and truth, without any fusion of error for its matter. The Bible is…“profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction for training in righteousness,” (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21; Hebrews 4:12). There is only one living and true God. He is an intelligent, spiritual and personal Being, the Creator, Savior, Preserver and Sovereign of the universe. God is unlimited in holiness and all other perfections. The eternal God reveals Himself to us as Father, Son and Holy Spirit, with distinct personal characteristics, but without division of nature, essence or being. God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, all of which represents the Holy Trinity, the all-powerful, all loving, and all wise eternal Godhead (Matthew 28:18-20; 1 Peter 1:2; 2 Corinthians 13:14; Hebrews 9:14; Ephesians 4:4-6). Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. Jesus completely revealed, did the will of God, taking upon Himself the burdens and requirements of humanity, identifying Himself entirely with humanity yet without sin. His death on the cross made redemption possible for all humanity from sin. Being raised from the dead with a glorified body, He ascended into heaven sitting on the right hand of God where He is the One Mediator between God and man (Matthew 26:64; Luke 1:29-33; John 1:12; 3:16; 5:24; 14:6; Acts 4:12; 1 Tim 2:5; 1 John 5:24). We believe that the Holy Spirit is a Divine person, the same as the Father and Son and of the same substance and nature. He convicts of sin, righteousness and judgment, bears witness to the truth, is the agent of the new birth. He also seals, endues, directs, instructs, witnesses to, consecrates, and helps the believer, indwelling every true child of God (John 14:16-17; John 16:12-15; Romans 8:14-27; 2 Corinthians 13:14). Because humanity transgressed, starting with Adam, fell into sin and plunged the whole world into spiritual death, all humanity is now born into sin, continues to choose to sin willfully, and is without excuse before God. Therefore, each individual must personally acknowledge the gift of salvation, repent of their sins, believing in faith and placing their life into the hands of Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Any claim to salvation apart from Christ’s Lordship is false (Genesis 3; Genesis 5:1-4; Romans 5:10-19; Ephesians 2:1-3). We believe in the distinct personality of Satan, that he is the god of this age, author and prince of all powers of darkness and sin, and is destined to the judgment of an eternal justice in the lake of fire (Ezekiel 28:11-19; Matthew 4:1-3; Matthew 25:41; 2 Corinthians 4:4; Revelation 20:10). Word of Encouragement: 1 Peter 5:6-11 “Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you at the proper time, casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you. Be of sober spirit, be on the alert Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. But resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same experiences of suffering are being accomplished by your brethren who are in the world. After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you. To Him be dominion forever and ever. Amen.”
