About Freedom Run's Calling to Ministry

Brenda:
"In August 2007, Wendy and I attended a RA* survivor’s conference where, during the Q&A session, a young woman asked about the importance of informing the church about RA trauma amongst us.  Unanimously, the room agreed the church needs to be informed in order to help survivors as they come to them for help.  I listened to this young woman share her burden about informing the church and, by her own admission, was not able to do so herself at this time in her life.  It was right then that the Lord spoke to me, in the middle of this secular conference, and told me that NOW was the time for me to speak out and expose this growing darkness; to stand as a living miracle and light against the kingdom of darkness."

Chris:
"In that same month (August, 2007) I had attended a Christian Music Festival where I felt God’s strong presence and call to GO and pursue full-time ministry.  A few weeks after, I spoke with Wendy and before knowing of the calling they had received at their conference, I explained to her this desire God placed in my heart for a ministry involving our testimonies and worship through music.  God had revealed in my heart that although His calling for my life individually was important, that the combination of several others close around me and their individual specific callings and anointing would create a dynamic ministry that would far exceed what we could imagine."

Wendy:
"I was in complete awe as I watched God work all of this together.  I knew it was His calling without a doubt when it seemed we were tripping over confirmation after confirmation.  From the same calling I received at the same conference, to meeting a Christian woman whose daughter had witnessed alleged molestation with occult overtones and talking about what God wanted her to do with this information, to discussing ‘Consider This’ joining ‘Freedom Run’ with Brenda even before Chris mentioned it, and even God impressing upon several of us what the logo should be, there is no way this could have all been a coincidence.  I’m excited to see what God is going to do, and even more humbled that He wants to use all of us to serve the church and bring hope to the hurting."

This is the birth of Freedom Run Ministries, set apart as a light to those lost or beaten down by Satan and his workers of deceit and wickedness that they too can be set free no matter WHAT they have experienced or done.  To also be a watchman for fellow Christians, to help them become equipped in confidence that Jesus Christ of the Bible is truly the Victor; to teach their hands to war against the spiritual wickedness in high places in order to help set captives free.

About Consider This

Consider This began back in 1998 under the direction of Michelle Catarino, sister of Wendy and Chris Catarino.  Serving as a worship leader and member of a local church music ministry since an early age, Michelle’s leadership was a true anointing of the Holy Spirit in worship through music.  Michelle had felt God’s call to record several songs he had placed in her heart at that time, and she gathered several Christian friends and family members to join in this project.  After the initial recording, God brought along some new members to the group, while others were led to move out into other areas of ministry.  With a solid group of talented musicians, the band came up with the name, Consider This, and traveled locally to promote the recorded album.  Through this experience, God began to open doors of incorporating worship into a contemporary Christian setting.  We saw God’s divine anointing and leadership in all aspects of the group.

God began calling the members into family life and into pursuing education.  As the group’s vision changed, the group decided to lie down Consider This until God called it out again.

After three years of silence, Consider This is back with a new group of people, carrying on the vision of it’s foundation to lead people into passionate worship through music.

In God's calling forth the ministry of Freedom Run & the ministry of Consider This the Lord has united these two ministries to work in one accord through Praise and Worship and the power of His Word to set captives free.
